RUNNING BACK SITUATION THREAD: People need to get it through their head that it does not matter who starts for us. This is because both will play HUGE amounts. There won’t be a clear cut number 1 starting RB. Were going to be a running by committee team and that is a GREAT thing!
You know why!Because there are 10 teams going into next szn that have a bell cow. That is less than 1/3 of the league! They are the Cowboys, Jaguars, Panthers, Giants, Browns, Titans, Raiders, Bengals, Vikings, and Seahawks. Zeke and McCaffery have already been payed big money...
and soon so will Dalvin Cook, Derrick Henry, and Joe Mixon. Now there is nothing wrong with having a bell cow back other then they don’t last as long because of the wear and tear on there body and because you are going to pay them big money instead of using resources elsewhere...
Now let’s say each team has 3 backs. It’s definitely 4 but for arguments sake. You multiply 3x32 and that’s 96. So about 100 RBs. 10 out of 100 RBs are good enough to do this. That is such a low chance of getting a back like that. Very low. So people need to realize that the...
rest of the league is doing it the other way. The 49ers just got to the Super Bowl using 3 different RBs! (Not saying the rest of the team didn’t help). But it doesn’t matter who is starting. Both Kerryon and Swift will get thier carries and it will be great! You guys are.....
making it this big competition when in reality Kerryon is excited to have Swift. That is because he will take some of the load off his shoulders and be another running mate. They don’t and won’t hate eachother. They are working together and people need to realize that...
We have two starting RBs. It’s a blessing. Now enjoy it and stop trying to add drama where there isn’t any. Okay now I’m down with my rant.
