The World Ends with You is an action role-playing game with urban fantasy elements developed by Square Enix and Jupiter for the Nintendo DS. Set in the modern-day Shibuya shopping district of Tokyo, The World Ends with You features a distinctive art style.
The Story:
The protagonist, Neku Sakuraba, wakes up in the middle of Shibuya with no memories. He's forced into the "Reaper's game" where he has to perform tasks for the reapers for 7 days to get out of their game, or else his existence will be erased

I'll straight up say it, the gameplay is extremely unique and I love it to no end. It takes advantage of the DS's unique dual screens to make a gameplay experience that's challenging but worthwhile to learn
