Remember when the word racist had meaning because it wasn’t used every second of everyday? Now it’s basically, oh you like white bread? Racist. You didn’t post 39 insta stories today? Racist. You’re drinking water? Racist. When we overuse powerful words like that, they lose power

And then when a person says things that are truly racist and we call them out for it, they won’t even care because the word has lost any sort of significance or power. We have to quit labeling people as racist because they have a different opinion or view, vote a certain way, or

Because they don’t think or act the exact way you want them too. Lastly, when we name someone a racist, we are claiming to know the intentions of their heart and we are claiming that they find themselves superior to other races because of their race. That is a big accusation

To level at a person and before we label someone that way we better really try hard to understand their point of view and know their heart. I’m sure I’ll be attacked for this thread which makes me sad but i’m no longer surprised.
