Meet Safoora Zargar,

Born in 1993 in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir.

Her father was a government employee. So her family got an equal opportunity but what did she become?

She graduated with a B.A. from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. She got an equal opportunity there as well, just like others. Yet, she chose to be an Anti Indian.

And the inspite of having a normal & fair upbringing, what did she choose?

Chose to do M.A. in sociology at Jamia Millia Islamia & in 2019 started an M.Phil in sociology with special focus on urban studies at Jamia Millia Islamia.

Possibly this is the where her Anti Indian’ness was given a boost?

She is a member of the media wing of the Jamia Coordination Committee (JCC). According to Delhi Police, she was one of the founders of the JCC & the admin of JCC's WhatsApp group.

In 2020, she joined anti-CAA protests in Delhi.

Delhi police said the violence was a pre-meditated conspiracy & all arrests have been made based on scientific & forensic evidence.

Zargar is also charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

Held in Tihar jail Since 15 April 2020. Being an overcrowded prison, she was held in solitary confinement for almost 2 weeks to protect her as well as her unborn baby from COVID-19.

Finally on the 4th try, she was granted & released on bail.

Point is, they’ve been given equal opportunity may it be education or career.
