And for the record, no, this hasn't been my experience. I've been extraordinarily lucky in that most of the transmisogyny I've experienced has been more subtle. A combination of my financial good fortune, where I live, and having a strong support network.
Why do I mention that? Because every trans woman should have those things and they can't have those things alone. Cis people have to hire us and support us the work place. Cis people have to be our defenders and run interference for us. Cis people have to help us out of poverty.
Here is the call to action:
