I've been working in comics for 20 years. I've been both a writer & an artist, an editor & a freelancer. Worked w/ women, men, & all races. I've hired, been fired, & worked for literally every publisher but Oni (no reason!) People tell me the comics industry doesn't work (1/3)
(which is often true), from opposite sides of the political spectrum. But no one asks me HOW it works. Like, ever. I think many of the people demanding change are right, but I think it'd help to know what it looks like from the inside, so you can direct those energies. (2/3)
