“I love capitalism so much”

Tell that to the diabetics who are dying bc they can’t afford insulin bc pharmaceutical companies chose to gouge prices in order to make absurd profits. Or the 600,000+ homeless people who can’t afford housing because cities are being gentrified.

Tell that to the at least 40,000 Americans who die annually bc they can’t afford healthcare as a result of corporations looking to profit off the backs of sick Americans just trying to survive.

Or the unemployed people in this country who have either been laid off by a capitalist in favor of cheaper automated work, or outsourcing to use cheaper labor in foreign counties.

The fetishization of free markets that occurs under capitalism is a sickness. Free markets are not concerned with the public’s interests, they are concerned with profitability above & beyond everything else.
