The difficult one to find a replacement would be for Namanja Matic.
It's really hard to find a classic CDM like him. Winning the ball, Playing as a 3rd CB, Screening the defence, Breaking the lines, Penetrating passes and yes making those clever fouls.
In the present game there are only few players who can do that. Wished we could have signed a 5year younger Matic.
Iam hearing the names of Thomas Partey of Atletico, Declan Rice of West Ham and Dennis Sakaria of Borussia Borussia Mönchengladbach as a replacement. Although Wilfred Ndidi is one of the best in the business , I don't see him as disciplined as Matic is on the ball.
Finding the perfect replacement for that CDM position will be one of the toughest job for the recruitment board at MUFC in the following seasons .
