There are two types of people who are obsessed with bhagwan shiva .

*First ones are the fan of shiva (calli ng themselves mahadev ka deewana mahadev ki deewani)
*Second one are the devotees of shiva .

Those who are fan of lord shiva alg hi picture deemag m bana lete hai,
You might have observed, they post photos in which shiva is smoking(shiva is not smoker),they even share photos of shiva in which shiva looks like a hero and romancing ,
This is called heroic worship

those who are devotees they know about whom they are talking about God aise hi kuch bhi nhi bolte unke bare mein,these people understands Shiva,these type of people live in shiva consciousness,they're not effected by anything they understand temporary nature of relations& life .

He is naga sadhu, they're the highest devotee of lord shiva, they in winter wake up at 3 am and bath in cold water, they in summer, sit between fire, they torture their body like that so that they can burn their karmas .

We cant be a naga but we can be a devotee like them,

First ones(fans)knows shiva ,
Second ones (devotees)understand shiva

Second type of people shiva loves the most ,Shiva will take care of first ones type but they won't get shiva as shiva is reserved for devotees not for fans(personal opinion can be untrue)
