2/3 The above ws published in Shyam Saran’s book. Gen JJ singh’s book confirms it. Going by Shyam Saran’s book — “Army” intially supported the deal, bt after NSA objected to it, Gen JJ supported the NSA,Mk Narayanan. Frm both the books—MANMOHAN SINGH never objected to d deal.
