Ok no flame to this person. But this misses the point. Actors of colour are already pigeon holed so much in the roles we are ALLOWED to audition for. To add. I think Jenny Slates role “Missy” should be given to a black actress or someone who is black passing, as Missy is in the show. But if we bar Black actors from playing this role because they are not Jewish, then you must ask yourself if we would do the same to white actors

And the answer to that is no. We never fucking do that and we never will. But Hollywood has consistently held actors of colour to a higher standard while at the same time offered less opportunities. The same can be said for Theatre as well.
