Free Moon Trip Thread:
So many times, we want to go to the moon and so many times we get there. Just imagine taking that trip risk/semi-risk free. Imagine having a position that in all reality cost you 0$. You may say that’s impossible, but its really not. Wanting to go 1000% in every ticker and never
never stopping to take profits or scaling out your initial investment is a very easy way to damage your account, so think of it that way.

You purchase $YATES for 1.00$ @ 500 shares for a swing trade. $YATES has a great two day run to say 3$, which now gives your position a 1k
price tag. You are up 500$ in the green over your initial investment.
You look at the daily chart or you still see so much buzz about $YATES that you couldn’t imagine closing your position now.
But what if you scaled out your initial investment? What if you played the rest of
of $YATES on free shares?
Taking that initial investment of 500$ out of that position not only frees up funds to look for the next play, but it also allows you the ability to continue in $YATES without that nagging fear of losing everything you put in. Especially now that
you’ve seen yourself up 500$.

Its almost a way to free your mind on the trade and not become so emotional while in that position. It would be like going to Vegas and someone handing you 500$ and saying, “have fun”.
Of course, you don’t have to pull the entire initial investment out. You could decide what your risk % is and calculate how many shares that would be or decide a numerical amount that you’d be okay with losing if the trade didn’t work out like you imagined. All I have to say is,
TAKE YOUR PROFITS. The current market can turn on a dime. All it takes I someone to say the wrong thing on the news channel and the market turns and your position turns from a nice shade of green to a dark shade of red. New traders especially protect your accounts. Don’t let
greed take away the gains you’ve already made Don’t be ashamed of putting some of that initial investment back into your account and riding that trade on free shares.

Being greedy is the number one account killer.
