When I experienced my first and only DJ Hyde story, one of the reactions was:
"Congratulations. You, too, have a DJ Hyde story."
UUUUUMMMMMMM, anyway

I knew he was scummy going in, because I was told to look out and that others would "keep me away from him." But no one have me details.
I went to spectate, but someone bailed and WSU needed a worker. I had my gear. I had two workers vouch for my ability.

I'll skip to my complaint: I asked for feedback after my match, and permitted DJ to demonstrate a chinlock on me to show me whatever he was talking about. Instead of a chinlock, he put his arm around my windpipe and choked me. I got free, pushed him off, said "get off me."
I breathed, trying to stave off a panic attack. DJ apologized, kept asking "did I scare you?" and when I couldn't breathe/answer, laughingly said to people walking by us, "haha, I scared her." I went into the locker room to get away from him and broke down weeping, panicking.
The locker room was very supportive and concerned. And when I had the ability to speak about why I was panicking, there was no surprise. They were apologetic. This is how he treats his students. They were only outraged that he'd do this to someone who wasn't his student.
I think I've shared this like twice and deleted the threads both times because I was afraid he and his company held real sway in the wrestling industry and it's a comfort that they don't. Tbh I was lucky compared to others who've interacted with him.
I'll just go off. DJ is insufferable as a person, especially in conversation. Like, even if he never physically hurt someone in his life, he has the shittiest attitude I've ever seen. Going in, I thought "oh, this is why no one wanted me near him. He's a perv and doesn't stfu."
Fuckin full-on Ted Bundy-style doesn't have anything of substance to say, or a clue about wrestling. All he did was have the money to purchase an already well-known company. That's it.
