Home. Day started off proper as I drove off this morning and I saw my neighbor walking her two dogs. One is SweetDog’s bestest friend ever but they don’t see each other a lot now cuz Rona. Then spent 30 minutes talking with struggling neighbors in their camp behind some stores...
Setting up a parole video call so one can make sure she’s not violating parole. And then just listened to them talk about what’s going on. Handed out three tactical caring kits. One to a neighbor I had never seen before...
Sitting at a red light, I hop out and give him a kit & explain what’s in it & to call us if he needs help. A motorist in a truck next to me called out ‘hey, you make those kits?? We do too in Hinesville (nearby army town)!!’ Also did some decent detecting work. Happy to be home
Also I’m ever so grateful of my interviewing/questioning experience from old jobs. I visualize and mentally map out questions and likely answers and then follow up questions. A skill from overseas i now use at home. I’m exactly where & when & why I’m supposed to be.
