Been a while since I've tweeted but this is a biggie. Please help my brother beat leukemia by registering to be a bone marrow donor! https://www.swabforandrew.com/ cc @BeTheMatch
The odds of finding a match are less and and less likely if you're not white. This is... not right. If you're an ethnic minority or racially mixed you can help level this playing field!
Registering takes 5 minutes and entails a free mail-in cheek swab you do from home. Donating itself is also easy and painless (despite what you may think) -- similar to donating blood.
This is my family Christmas 2019 and last week. Normalcy is possible, but we need help. Siblings are typically the best match, but my youngest brother and I are unfortunately not matches for Andrew. So we must rely on the national registry and unrelated donors -- like you.
You can register directly here: http://join.bethematch.org/swabforandrew And get more info on Andrew and the donation process here: https://www.swabforandrew.com/ Thanks and please share!
