I just looked at the NYT poll released today, and my read is that Biden has a lot of room to grow, he needs positive ads and needs them fast, Trump is highly unpopular, but Biden does not have strong favorables, this is an opportunity for Biden and for Trump, if Biden can produce
positive ads to increase his favorability he can gain much on Trump, if Trump can define Biden negatively then Trump has a chance. But the race to fill in the Biden image is where this race is right now. We don't need a lot of Trump negative, that is baked into the cake already
