I really hope now that we have a Sunday Times bestseller title the @guardian @thesundaytimes and mainstream media will review our little book coming out of a fantasy imprint 🙃
Idk it’s like people want to read this stuff or something just as much as literary and commercial fiction

I know the last few weeks have been a lot to take in for these people but hopefully they’re learning and growing and not dismissing the majority of the population anymore with their outdated and incorrect views or something idk
Who am I but a publisher with multiple bestsellers on her list that don’t get given the time of day because someone said science fiction and fantasy is niche and for ‘geeks’ and it has a limited readership
Shhhhh but literally everything you’re streaming is science fiction fantasy or horror

Just going to leave this here
Lest we forget. I rest my case. Goodbye.

*looks up how many kids were named khaleesi this year*
You know who is amazing with reviewing SFF? The Daily Mail. There’s one brilliant reviewer who loves it. And yeah you can talk to me about roundups in x newspaper, but why is it just a roundup? Why isn’t it all the time like all the other genres. Don’t get me started on magazines
Actually pls do. Magazines, what genre do you think Twilight was? Your readers loved that. So much so that it inspired a very sexy series that sold millions of copies
Anyway, it’s about time I stopped working, poured a g&t and curled up with another Sunday Times Bestseller. It’s got vampires in it.

Night.
