This is going to be hard to convey/explain, and I usually don’t admit this. But this past week and yesterday, I’ve been in a really bad place due to everything going on. Left and Right, it’s felt as if every time I get on I hear a new Black Death, and these lynchings have -

Especially scared me and I traumatized me. I’m one of those people that try to hide how I’m feeling not to inconvenience others, but with bottling up and not venting about all these racial injustices, it just got really bad last night. 2/?
People please check on your Black friends. And I mean really check on them. This does not mean putting your guilt on them and mentioning racist family members and how you think it’s wrong, REALLY listen to them and let them know that you see them and their life matters 3/?
Everything that’s been going on is very scary and overwhelming. Black people, please take care of yourselves and take a break. It’s okay if you take a moment to step back. Please take care of you. I want you to be okay. 4/?
Again non black people instead of a “how are you?” or projecting your guilts, just give a “how can I support you right now?” Or ask your friends if they have taken some rest and care for themselves. 5/(links coming up)
