The whole argument, that I have seen all over Twitter, is based on Judge’s 2017 season...not only was that 3 years ago but Aaron Judge is now 28y.o. Here’s a list of player with higher WAR in the last 2 seasons Judge’s age 26 and 27 seasons.

#11 Jose Ramirez. The guy with an 8.0 WAR szn in 2018 and only .3 less WAR than Judge over the last 3 szn’s. He’s younger and overall better outside of what happened early last szn.
#12 Irony time. Gerrit Cole had 6.0+ 7.4 WAR in the last 2 szn’s which is 3.4 more than Judge.

#13 Aaron Judge a NY super star. I will admit IF he can stay on the field and IF he can get back to 2017 production he could be Top 5. But the odds of it happening and other younger stars not passing him by is slim to none. He’s been the 13th best player in MLB during his career.
