Internet crashed yesterday, so you had to wait an extra 24 hours, but UCLA IS WORTH THE WAIT.
IT'S UCLA DAY.
IT'S UCLA DAY.
The most positive thing I can say about these two UCLA trend charts: UCLA really does have the most gorgeous shade of blue.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson is the most maddening player in CFB. His good plays are spectacular, and one bad play sends him into a three-week spiral. Alternated between passing downs magic and self destruction all year. (A frosh-heavy OL didn't help.)
Osa Odighizuwa is a fun, quick DT, and UCLA was legit good at stuffing runs in the backfield. And legit bad at almost everything else. But the secondary was also crazy-young, so maybe improvement's possible there? Maybe?
EIGHT relative tossups for UCLA. Goodness. If DTR plays sustainably well and/or the defense isn't awful, the odds of a good season are really pretty good. But hoo wee, are those a couple of fraught "ifs"...
