Guys go search in YouTube where Karan Johar is admitting to Ranveer that he told Aditya Chopra to “not cast ranveer because he’s ugly and can’t even sell a poster.” Also because Ranveer isn’t a stardkid.
He has some distant 2nd or 3rd gen connection to Anil Kapoor but Anil himself didn’t even know that until after RS debut, otherwise why would Anil movie direct clash with Ranveer debut film Band Baaja Baraat (go look this up, both released on dec 10, 2010).
Also there is interview of Sonam Kapoor admitting the same that they didn’t know him at all until after he was already a star in the industry (YouTube it).

Not to mention RS grandma was some supporting actress in 50s and died more than decade before Ranveer even debut. Ranveer struggled doing theater and plays for 3 years, quit to go copywriting when he couldn’t achieve his dream of becoming actor.
Ranveer faced casting couch, racism, & about every other form of humiliation. He even had starkids like Ranbir Kapoor and Kjo Nepo Gang kick him out of Bombay Velvet after the dotted line was already signed using their influence because they were afraid of him becoming a star.
His struggle of 3-4 years is well documented just to get 1 movie, & we all know he killed it in that debut & every film since, is only here bcz of his talent, hard work. So request to all to please stop coming up with ur own conspiracy theories & stop abusing him for gods sake
he’s a pure hearted gem of a person who never hurts anyone in Bollywood or anywhere, I met him last year and he’s the kindest soul, he’s an amazing soul and we all know it, you’ve seen him spread smiles and happiness everywhere he goes 
also to address the thing about Sushant being in Ram Leela, he himself said no to that movie so he could do Paani. Which YRF backed out of later, that’s all production house and Aditya Chopra decision, Ranveer is just an actor and had nothing to do with that.
Regarding Befikre, sushant himself said he’d never do a movie like that (go look it up, do your research). Also Ranveer was in PK first, but for same reasons like Sushant earlier, he couldn’t do it and then Sushant got that role & killed it as Sarfraz jisne dhoka de hi diya :/
This is normal in Bollywood or any film or entertainment industry, don’t blame the actors, it’s about dates issues for movies among other reasons, it happens. This is not excuse to bully and abuse other innocent humans like it’s happening currently.
I know we’re all hurt right now but please wait for investigation to finish and truth to prevail, we will get justice for Sushant!! And lastly, stop abusing Ranveer and other innocent souls, he/they had nothing to do with it.
not to mention he’s a living breathing human being with a heart and mind susceptible to pain and depression like Sushant or any of us be kind please
