What if we updated the old games ourselves?

I enjoy things about all the games, but am terrified of seeing some things 5 brought in spread to the rest of the series.

Let's start by grabbing something from Balrog! In 5 after doing a few attacks, Friction will fall during its startup. JC is the only way to reset weight while aerial, so if you have any distance from the enemy you're gonna have no choice but to lose height.
How about a longer JC animation? This one's fun to meme about, but honestly my only problem with it in 5 is that it's uncancellable. A longer JC animation gives slower players longer to slide from jump to attack while barely affecting more experienced players.
Let's think about gravity. Height management is a huge part of DMC4, and without the option to quickly drop you're going to lose a lot of room for creativity. The air is the safest place to be, and threat of the floor is nonexistent in 5.
On the subject of height management, what if we took out land cancelling? It's nice to be able to use landing on the ground as a cancel for long animations like ecstasy so you can ensure followups when you're not in range for a JC, but doesn't this look more natural? ;)
A more dynamic camera! (They actually did this to 3Switch, presumably left in from the new coop camera) Removing camera code in dmc5 and having so many people tell me they prefer it is incredible. Presentation is important, but gameplay should be king. God Hand 2 pls
What about slower guard recovery and Million Stab startup? Guard spam was never an issue in the previous games and giving it a longer recovery detroys dante's primary cancel. MS hitting so late stops even basic strings like helm breaker>million stab from working.
Inertia! Enemy Step killing inertia in 5 is a great way of ensuring all of your aerial strings feel the same. Redirectable inertia allowed you to orbit an enemy, create distance and close distance all with precise, natural control. It multiplied the use of so much of Dante's kit.
