Another way to think about journalistic critique is that the critique should focus on something missing in the world - something g there is not enough of. To my eyes, what we are not lacking today is *not* “moral clarity.” We are awash in moral clarity ...
The problem with our surfeit of moral clarity, however, is that everyone thinks *they* are the ones that have it.
