Freelance Task Force:

Loose questions for those of the #FreelanceTaskforce who are on here or anyone else organising a big group at speed.

How do we remember that we are a project not an institution? How can we take this on without doing lasting damage to those doing the work?
How can represent perspectives whilst acknowledging in thirteen days there is no way to develop a detailed collective mission? How can we create space where multiple options coexist? How do we utlilise skills, networks and research that already exists? How do avoid doing harm?
How can we avoid being lost in a sea of Doodle Polls? How can we commit to only working the hours we’re paid for? How do we acknowledge individual or collective fears that drive us to reach for control? How do we move slowly enough to have purpose but quickly enough to keep up?
How do we clarify who the ‘we’ is when making statements, plans or assumptions? How do we arrange ourselves by skill set instead of first responder? How do we ensure this doesn’t consume us? How do we avoid becoming what we hated enough to drive us to apply in the first place?
Seriously, not looking for answers but would love to hear more questions - all of the questions - that people have: unformed, recurring, familiar, infuriating, micro, macro, mid-scale, messy.
