I believe that it has been culturally convenient for men to benefit off the idea that they are overall protectors, but one just needs to pay attention to their community and how it operates, to realize who men are consistently effective in protecting, it’s themselves.
Learning early that a protective nature is an individual behavior present in all genders, & not just found in men, will allow women to stop trading their safety, benefits & rights to men in exchange for protection that simply is nonexistent.
