Aiming For Self-Actualization Podcast Ep. 1 The MEGA Thread!

I finished listening to the podcast and I want to share with you my biggest takeaways from it.
In Episode 1 @FreedomPathGo talks to @thedankoe where they go over everything from money, mental health to work ethic.

Here are the 13 points that stuck with me the most.
1- Having money is going to solve your money problems but not your internal problems

While having money is great and will help you solve your money problems.

People have a perception that having money will change who they are.
Once they have money they realize they are exactly the same person.

You need to focus on yourself if you want to get rid of your internal problems.

Money might help you with your problems but it won't solve them for you.
2- Making your first dollar online starts to shift the way you think because you realize that it's a limitless source

Once you start making money online you start to look at things differently.
If you are able to make 1$ then you can make 10,000$.

Your mind starts to look at making money in a completely different way.
3- If you want to have a calmer mind, you don't need money to do this

You can change your mindset and be content with what is around you.

This is why we see rich people who are not happy and less fortunate people who have experienced true happiness.
4- If you want to work on your inner state

Work on your healthy habits.

Creating a sustainable system that helps you with your mental and physical state is the best thing to do.
5- Hustle Culture is changing

It used to be a lot of people saying hustle hustle hustle.

Go out, find clients, send DMs.

It was a recipe for a burnout.
Today's message is different.

It's more about being efficient with your time.

Not being on 100% of the time.
6- Entrepreneurship

If you go into business because you think it will solve your problems.

You are coming from a place of desperation and you will be disappointed.

In entrepreneurship the likelihood of failing on your first try is really high.
Dan experimented with a lot of different things and failed at them before finding out what was right for him.

Don't give up and keep trying until you find what works for you.
7- Twitter might be the place you start but might not end up in

You might get your start on Twitter.

As you grow you might find yourself branching out of Twitter.

Use Twitter as a gateway not your final destination.
8- Be Authentic. Stand Out

The more authentic you are the more your brand will stand out.

In a field where a lot of people have the same message being unique will make you stand out.
Add your twist when sharing your ideas and people will notice.

You are more likely to be attracted to something different instead of the same message repeated the same way by 15 people before you.
9- Tenacity

When you start your journey as an Entrepreneur you need to have Tenacity.

In the beginning when you don't have a business structure.
You might feel like you are talking to a wall.

You need to find the strength to keep going.

This is where Tenacity kicks in.
10- Belief

You need to have a very high level of belief in yourself that you will succeed.

Especially in the beginning when you don't have an audience.
Don't be discouraged.

Have an unrealistically high level of belief in yourself and in what you are doing.

It will keep you pushing forward and eventually building something that works.
11- Don't be frugal when it comes to investing in yourself

A 50$ course might sound like a lot to you right now.

What if that course helped you make 1000$

50$ doesn't seem like that big of an expense anymore .
The same can be said about a gym membership.

If you get into shape and reach your target weight then the money investment is not a bad thing.
12- Dan Koe biggest lesson from his journey.

You can always do something better.

No matter how successful you are.

You can always look back and say.

I could have done this better.
13- Dan Koe Best Advice

Negative emotions can't exist when you are fully present.

When you are focused on the now.

You don't create room for your brain to think of negative emotions from the past.

You don't allow your brain to think of the what if of the future.
You are just focused on what is in front of you right now.

You are only focusing on the present.
