“God break me and make me” stems from Job 5:18 - “For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole.”

If you read the preceding verses, you’ll see that Job was talking about CORRECTION. (Job 5:17) (2/4)
Even so, Job didn’t have a mediator, so the only God he knew was a God who beats him but we know that God is Love. (3/4)
If we look at Hebrew 12:6 -
For whom the LORD loves He CHASTENS, And scourges every son whom He receives.”
God will never beat you or break you. He’ll simply chasten you and correct you if necessary just like Jesus did :))))
