good morning & happy Wednesday!! today I'll be covering the special meeting of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education for @OUDaily, stay tuned!!

The selected agenda items for this meeting are the presentation and approval of FY21 tuition and mandatory fee requests and approval of FY21 institutional budgets.
We should also be seeing an adoption of emergency rule revisions for Oklahoma's Promise

Chancellor Johnson said they are very proud of a report from last fall saying 53% of graduates in Oklahoma graduate with no student debt.
@OU_President seems to be missing from the meeting today and his budget presentation will be presented at a later time. President Goodson from Tulsa Community College moves to present her budget.
Regent Helm has now joined the meeting after running late.
President Harroz will be joining the meeting shortly. President Steward of Oklahoma City Community College is now giving his presentation.

President Harroz says there will be no increase in tuition and fees for the Norman campus for the third year in a row.
Harroz says the university is "on the cusp" of completing the first written strategic plan in 30 years.
Harroz says 43% of undergraduate and 42% of graduate students borrow money and graduate with debt.
Harroz says the "number one fundraising priority" is for need-based students and praises the Money Coach service at the university, which has been providing remote service during the pandemic.
Regent Turpen asks Harroz to comment on the "reverse scholarship" program from the Jeanine Rainbolt College of Education. The program rewards students who graduate and then go on to teach in an Oklahoma school.
Harroz says it's these kinds of opportunities that "make the American dream possible."
Justice Steven Taylor thanks Harroz for his service at OU Law and says he will be missed.
