My heart is heavy for Philly again today. Please share with me your best Philly interaction with a stranger.

I'll start: When I came to interview for my job here, I was living in the middle of nowhere and had fallen in love with the city from afar.
I didn't have any sense of style (I still don't) but I went to like JC Penny's and bought the best suit I could afford.

As I was pacing about two blocks away from the office (then at 400 N. Broad) waiting for my interview to start, a woman in her 50s or 60s stopped me.
"You look really nice today," she said.

"Thank. I'm interviewing for a job today," I said.

"You're going to get it," she told me, as she patted me on the shoulder and walked away.

And I did. And I think about that woman all the time.
