Appalled by the smearing of @BubbaWallace’s character. He was called by the head of NASCAR and told about the noose. He - and NASCAR - responded beautifully. Bubba did nothing wrong except be brave and speak out. Accusing him of being part of a “hoax” is racist slander.

The glee on the racist right in mocking Wallace is what is upsetting me. He came to Talladega. Faced down confederate flags. Faced down racist invective. They don’t say shit. Now that we know the noose had been there a year (and what’s up with that) they’ve got something to say.

And all the instant overnight pit crew experts (“it’s not a noose it’s a garage pully”) need to also take all the seats. NASCAR is still investigating what the hell a noose was doing there. If they were in every garage, they wouldn’t be doing so.
