Johnson is able to do that schoolboyish headshaking and smiling because he knows this. Britain is his poodle as long as the media landscape remains dominated by financial & political interests that favour rule by Tories. He just doesn't need to sweat it.

He's even bad for my health, at this distance, because I genuinely hate every fibre of him. And I don't much like having that feeling for another human being. I don't even have it for people like Yaxley-Lennon, who just seems pathetic. But Johnson is a dirty stain on humanity.
