I don’t know who need to hear this.

There are different types of personal trainers. We have different focuses, strengths, and styles.

If you choose to have a personal trainer (IRL or virtually) make sure you find the right type that can help you achieve your personal goals...
But on Twitter, I say follow them all. It gives perspective and ideas for when you need to switch things up or when your gym mate is doing something different than you.

Just be conscious that the advice they give may not be 💯 accurate for you...
For example, a lot of my favorites on here will say to skip cardio when building muscles.

If you are one of my athletes, you know damn well that isn’t a choice for you. But how we approach power and strength training is similar. And don’t worry, you will still build muscle.
If you are in my class 3 ob group, you still have to do cardio. But the cardio strategies I do with you are different than with my athletes.

For my “normies”, we do what fits you. Cardio recommendations vary. Always with the intention of dropping fat and gaining muscle...
If you find a trainer that thinks they know everything and can do everything... run...

Part of the reason I am loving fitfam on here is by how much I learn and grow from others.

So make the right choice when choosing a trainer/coach but I say follow them all...
