The Falklands War is almost a forgotten war, seen as something easily won. It wasn’t. We unnecessarily lost people, and any war with Argentina now would be much harder fought. Yes, our tech is better but our forces are so overstretched.
To be clear this worries me because the Falkland Islanders want to be and continue to be British citizens, and were the islands to be invaded again, we would be morally obligated to attempt to retake them.
