I think I understand why D’banj is so rattled. The only good cop out he could’ve presented was “The sex was consensual. She was a groupie.” Most people would buy it. Now the problem: he cheated on his wife in the same year he lost his son, rape or consensual.
That’s why he denied even being in the country at the time. That was quickly proven to be a lie. He was at that hotel. Fire dey burn my guy at home and that’s why he’s wilding out this way.
All that man had to do was release his legal statement and that was that. Most of the public had sidestepped the gist already. He was still king. That wasn’t enough. I can bet a pretty penny his wife isn’t giving him peace and that’s why he’s so desperate.
