UK DITCHES ITS STAR PERFORMER: The UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) is (was) the second most transparent bilateral aid agency on the planet. The Foreign & Commonwealth Office ranks near the bottom of the ‘fair’ category; scores ‘0’ for performance information.
AID AGENCIES GENERALLY MORE TRANSPARENT THAN FOREIGN MINISTRIES
GOOD RESULT FOR NORTH AMERICA: The Millennium Challenge Corporation @MCCgov is the top bilateral aid agency. @USAID increased to near the top of the “Good” category. @GAC_Corporate is ‘Very Good.’
MULTILATS DO WELL: @worldbank @gavi @globalfund @unicef @undp @ADB_HQ @the_IDB @AfDB_Group all ‘Very Good’
EUROPE COULD DO BETTER: @AFD_France, @SpainMFA, @ItalyMFA, @Irish_Aid, @DanishMFA, @NorwayMFA and the @EIB are all ‘Fair.’
EU & GERMANY FARE WELL: @europeaid @eu_near @GermanyDipl @DutchMFA @SweMFA @BelgiumMFA are all 'Good.'

AFRICA GETS A GOLD STAR: The only African ‘donor’ the @AfDB_Group is ‘Very Good’
