Scott here. With our first arc having concluded, I’m gonna take a few posts to share some of the podcasts that have helped me and influence me from well before the creation of this podcast:

First up is @DMsTreehouse. And absolutely amazing podcast with four different, but equally wonderful stories, and the cast is so encouraging and creative. (Also, the Pokeplay system we use was created by them.)

Next up is @criticalditto. Hilarious, amazing improvisation, and @StewClarke’s got such a way with words that you get lost in the story and the laughs and these guys are just the best.

Following them is @questcojunior, as well as @TheQuestCompany. The stories they tell are so inspiring, and Postcards from Pearl has legit made me tear up just recently. I love these guys so dang much.

Of course, I can’t forget the podcast I consider our “sibling podcast”, @2sCompany1. Jonah and Patrick are just great people and both of the stories they currently have out are so well thought out and creative!

On a personal note, @roaringtrainers and @CubonesC have both inspired me to make most of the music for this podcast, and the campaigns in both of them are just breathtaking

@NotAScratchCast is next on the list. While a newer podcast, the DM, @AhdurinRegion has been super supportive of us, and the Mystery Dungeon feel this podcast has makes me feel like I’m there.

Last, but certainly not least, a lot of inspiration for the whole dang concept for this podcast came from @PWTpodcast, particularly the abnormal types found in PWT United. This podcast is hilarious, thought provoking, and has drawn so many emotions from Alan and all the players!

I personally recommend each and every podcast that I just listed here. They’re wonderful, inspiring, and many other positive adjectives that I can’t think of right now. Thanks to all of them, and you all, for the inspiration and the feels.
