A very very sad day. Four years on where are we?

The EU brought us peace & prosperity, freedom of movement, social welfare, environmental protection, rule of law, democracy & human rights & positive attitudes to diversity. It gave us the scale to effectively tackle global problems. What didn’t people like about all that #FFS?

It’s astonishing that a developed nation like the UK could walk into this disaster apparently with its eyes open.

No doubt a lot of bright young people will stay in the UK (or what remains of it). But it’s hard to say the country deserves them. And young people in EU countries will have much better life chances.

#Brexit Our public services will fail. Health & education decline. Infrastructure deteriorate. The country be poorer. A few rich richer. There will be more crime. More angry people. More unhappy people. More ill people. Thank you #Brexit & all who gave it to us on 23 June 2016.

#Brexit was just one big ugly lie.
