It's a little hard to follow I know, but I can guarantee you that in the after-parties, the meet and greets, women are there just trying to balance being polite versus building their careers. They're not interested, no matter your ego.
There are literal industries, bars, dating apps etc built around ways to meet women. Shelve it for the night and let the women at these professional events just be safe and included.
An amazing amount of men in my replies who are complaining that women's comfort in professional environments is second to their 'need' to flirt with women.
I'm mainly referring to my own scene, the comics industry that is bursting at the seams with men who have no idea what boundaries at professional work events look like. But in general - unless there's explicit consent, just don't flirt with women at work my dudes.
Yeah going to mute this now. I was talking about a specific problem in my own industry and I have about 20 men whining to me about how I'm ruining their dating life and I should reasonably debate them the marketplace of free ideas.
