Mostly for taking bribes from Chinese developers related to donwtown property deals....

Busted for taking $1.5M in bribes for official acts!
Oh goodie, the FBI busted "a web of other corrupt city officials, lobbyists, consultants and developers" to expose rampant corruption at L.A. City Hall!
Of course these kinds of cases move slowly to get air tight indictments & convictions!
Salazar was first raided by the FBI right after the 2018 election at the beginning of my coverage of the #ButNothingsHappening cases.
116 pages of #receipts! Would not want to be Individual 1, I imagine their indictment is next!
A couple of the participants agreed to plead guilty & flip in recent weeks!
Anyone know who "Chairman E" is?
Chinese billionaire that owns a hotel in Huizar’s district.
Chairman E also paid off a $600,000 #MeToo case for Huizar to help his reelection campaign...
"Developer C" also got in on the action, paying $500k to help mediate a friendly labor arrangement as part of a real estate project...
We also have "Company D", Huizar "Associate 1", & “Relative A-1”
Seems “Company M” facilitated by “Executive M” did oppo research on 2 female staffers who had #MeToo claims against Huizar. Then got a sweetheart deal that saved them $14M in construction of a tower in the Art's district.
