1) Spending Plans & Company Percentages

Few things to note from this graph:

A) Coupa $COUP, Elastic $ESTC and Cloudflare $NET have largest available market to gain.

B) 43% surveyed plan to increase BASE investment in $MSFT products

C) 68% plan to maintain $ADBE spending

2) Microsoft's Continued Dominance

- 47% of respondents expect to increase their spending on MSFT products.

- Spending on Box $BOX and Dropbox $DBX expected to drop 10% & 4.6%, respectively

- Spending on Oracle $ORCL expected to drop nearly 9% in 2020

3) Company Runway Visualization

- The top-left side of the graph shows two things:

A) High % of installed based with net increase in spending in 2020

B) Smallest market penetration

That's a recipe for success for:

- Elastic $ESTC

- Pure Storage $PSTG

- Crowdstrike $CRWD

4) The Standout Cloud Vendors

Respondents were asked to name their standout cloud vendors going into 2020. Here's the top three:

- ServiceNow $NOW

- Slack $WORK

- CrowdStrike $CRWD

5) Who Gained Strategic Relevance?

Surveyors were asked which company gained strategic relevance by providing new technologies.

The top three:

- Accenture $ACN

- Wipro $WIT

- EPAM $EPAM

6) Cloud Providers Most Integral To Company Plans

CIOs were asked which company's cloud services are most integral in their plans for cloud migration.

The top three answers:

- Microsoft $MSFT

- Amazon $AMZN w/ AWS

- Alphabet $GOOGL w/ GCP

7) Company Spending on IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service)

Surveyors were asked to name which company they planned on using for cloud infrastructure over the next three years.

The top three:

- Microsoft Azure $MSFT

- Amazon AWS $AMZN (35% decline!)

- Alphabet GCP $GOOGL

8) Relative Market Share in Cloud IaaS Services

Some things to note:

- Amazon AWS dominates tech-first companies

- Microsoft Azure commands market lead in Enterprise IT companies

- Overall, AWS commands near 48% market share

9) Which Companies Will Be Most Valuable In Your Digital Transformation?

Respondents answered (in dominating fashion):

- Microsoft (and suite of MSFT products) at 71%

- Amazon AWS at 25%

- Salesforce at 18.5%

10) Indispensable to Company's IT Future

Q: Which IT mega-vendor will be most critical and indispensable to your organization's IT environment in the future?

Top three:

- Microsoft $MSFT

- Amazon AWS $AMZN

- SAP $SAP

11) CIOs Cloud Computing Approach in 2020
