In no way do I think that, he is past his prime, but he hasn't been the same since Emilio left the club.
Emilio Alvarez was very close to Dave and is an exceptionally talented coach.
After he left, it has been difficult for Dave. Emilio had played an imp role in Dave's growth.

Also with Ole, we have started to play out from the back. Although, that has never been Dave's biggest attributes, but he has been fairly good in that as well.
