First video draws the player to the dead body at the wall with blood on the floor. It then makes them go left by having another body there. When the player turns back they can see the ROPE they have to use to progress, something that initially isn't obvious.
After the player explores the room, they see that the corridor is a dead end which makes them turn back. There they finally see a vent they can go through. If that wasn't enough, the black cable on the floor leads them there.
The characters mention using the ladder so the player uses the rope to fling themselves there only to discover the ladder is broken which they could not see until they got there. Turning around makes them notice the door that was so obviously there from the beginning.
BAIT & SWITCH can also be used to trigger events. Dead body near the wall attracts the player's attention. Placement of the door right next to it makes them enter it immediately after. It has some supplies to make it even more enticing. Exiting the room triggers a scary moment.
