Getting to 80% masking allows for EXCEPTIONS that still let community spread to be contained.
Exceptions: Young kids (ie <2), medical conditons: severe lung disease, mental health, disabilities that make masking difficult.
Face shields can be an option too.

Forgot to add, for those who say masking may make people get lax with other public health measures like distancing or face touching, this EKOS poll courtesy of @VoiceOfFranky shows that masking goes hand in hand w great distancing & other measures.

+Evidence that 25-40%+ of cases are from ppl who have no symptoms/before their symptoms come on. NO symptoms & still spreading virus when u talk, laugh, sneeze etc. #Masks4Canada
