georgia as a state has come in for much criticism about "re-opening"

but has it been warranted?

the data seems to say "no" pretty emphatically.

hospitalizations have not budged and remain at low levels.
and deaths are similarly low and stable.

so where is this purported effect from opening?
interestingly, their levels of social interaction variance per google mobility are plotted here vs the US as a whole

can you tell which is which? do you see any meaningful difference?

this makes it seem particularly disingenuous and political to single georiga out for censure.
just what are we playing at here? why do they keep getting singled out?

it's hard to even see what they have done that was terribly unusual expect fail to play to the panic narrative

it seems that violating this doctrine places one firmly in the crosshairs regardless of facts
such ruthless censure and attack for violating orthodoxy is the act of a religion.

it is the act of a dogmatist.

is it not nor can it ever be how real science is done.

and it has no place in shaping US health policy.
