Trump's Tulsa crowd size after getting pranked by teenagers

Correct: The prank was that Trump and his team boasted about how many people would be there, only to be humiliated.
People didn't come.
Some may have been discouraged by the advance word that hundreds of thousands would be there, but still.

A few comments:
Pascale didn't think he had to do this. The joke on the campaign was that they were fooled.
Pascale might not have been able to get everyone there in a pandemic.
People are less likely to come if. . . https://twitter.com/fight_goddess/status/1274712693224566792

Now, the other problem for Pascale was that, if the campaign had known the truth, they would have planned for it. If they knew that fewer than, say, 10K people would come, they . . .
. . . would have found a pretext for canceling that made them look good.
Instead they were left looking very foolish.
Looking foolish and weak is the first sign that a fascist is going down. We learn that from history.

Interesting.
It may take a while for people to absorb the enormity of this blow. Recall that this rally was supposed to jump start the campaign and energize Trump.

I have to dig back for the link, but will come up in google)

I don't think so. I read the opening chapter of Bolton's book, and really, you can't avoid the conclusion that the lot of them are completely incompetent and have no idea how to manage a campaign or the federal government.
They got very lucky in 2016. . . https://twitter.com/NathanaelNow/status/1274736094718750720

. . . the propaganda hate machine had been pummeling the Clintons for decades. We were all caught unaware by the Russian operation, and now we're wiser.
Trump and pals tried to do set Biden up as corrupt via Operation Ukraine Shakedown. That failed. They tried to say . . .

. . . he was senile. That failed. They tried to say he's a sexual predator. That failed.
So they're floundering.
They have only one trick: Lie. Eventually that stops working.

Yes, exactly. Biden isn't corrupt, he isn't senile, and he isn't a sexual predator.

He also knows how to run the executive branch. After 4 years, Trump still doesn't know how. Moreover, he has no interest in learning.
His idea is to destroy it.
