Breaking a myth on ‘Boys and Girls are equal’
I’ve seen people using this quote quite often. I don’t agree to this. I would say that both of them co-exist equally. I can very well explain:

1. I’ve seen lot of girls using their female card to get a seat in a public transport or breaking a queue for movie tickets or anything by just saying that I’m a girl and there’s a separate queue for girls don’t you know? While there’s no such privilege for boys. Girls-1, Boys-0
2. If a girl does something wrong to a boy which attracts any criminal action,d onus always lies on proving the fact in the court whether she has actually done it or not.
Now let’s take vice versa, then there’s always the notion that the guy actually must have done something wrong.Girls-2, Boys-0.

etc. But whenever a guys uses the words ‘B*tch’ or any other derogatory word for a girl, he’s being abused and called as a pervert. While abusing is wrong for both, why is that only one gender is targeted for it. Girls-3, Boys-0.
4. Have seen girls posting half nude pics on insta in the name of women empowerment with all the trashy captions, when a guy comments anything filthy she starts crying and abusing that guy. The guy is absolutely wrong on his part. But why crying?
If you are bold enough to post such pictures, then be bold enough to handle criticism too. You love your body, Fine. You love wearing short clothes, Fine. But you yourself created the disbalance first by putting such pictures on SM at the very first place.
and now the entire group curses the guy only. While if a boy would put any of such picture, I just can’t imagine all the feminazis thrashing him & name caling himGirls-4, Boys-0.

for a boy to do so because we as a society have created a notion that Boys don’t cry or they handle their problems on their own without telling anyone. Why this biased behaviour? Aren’t we humans and humans have emotions irrespective of Gender. We all tend to become weak
and there’s nothing wrong. Girls-5, Boys-0
While girls are equally doing good for their families and society and We’re all always proud of each one of them. They too have to go through a lot and there are many cases where women are being oppressed a lot and still they rise&shine

But let’s just not put blame on entire boys community for each n every mishap and stop saying ‘Ladkiyan ladko se agey hain’. Both boys and girls are important for this society, both have their respective roles to play and both co-exist equally.
What I’m trying to convey is that girls are more privileged than boys and I’ve not seen boys crying of this fact. Let’s just respect both the genders equally.
