Is it outlandish to think that there might be a shortage of available soccer players when American soccer returns?

I wouldn’t be surprised to see clubs have to withdraw from playing this year solely based on not having enough players to fill a squad.

Fitness and the added stress of a condensed schedule would amplify the need for adding players.

The only way I see this being alleviated is by USL-C and L1 clubs signing players from the lower leagues.

Which I am here for but will inevitably dilute the level of play.

So what I’m really saying is this.
