It is purportedly said Dawood was a pain to ISI as lot of Dawood services were utilised by ISI & the Pakistan army, and ever since PM Modi/NSA Doval took the role in 2014 there were constant pressure from CIA & other intelligence agencies to hand over Dawood (& R&AW behind it)
The 1993 Bombay bombings were coordinated masterminded by Dawood Ibrahim which killed 317 people, injuring 1400 people. He is also believed to have had contacts with AlQaeda Osama bin-Laden & had Taliban's protection. He also financed LeT in his Gujarat attacks.
Dawood would hv been captured much before by R&AW and IB, between 1994 - 2013, however Congress govt ensured he’s saved from the noose..close to 6 TIMES!!
ATTEMPT-1: Dawood wanted to surrender in 1994, 15 months after Mumbai serial blast. As claimed by IPS officer Neeraj Kumar & senior lawyer Ram Jethmalani, Dawood had expressed his desire to surrender to CBI, CBI was prepared to receive then Congress govt asked them to pull back.
ATTEMPT-2: R&AW decides to execute Dawood in 1994, R&AW trains 4 highly specialised assassins equipped with sophisticated arms & explosives and were also briefed about the geography of the Clifton neighbourhood in Karachi. Ready to go, Congress govt calls them last minute to STOP
ATTEMPT-3: R&AW decides to force Dawood's chartered aircraft to land in Mumbai in 1994, while he is flying Jeddah - Singapore with ISI officials.R&AW plans with IAF jet to bring down Dawoods flight in Indian airspace. Ready for operation. Congress govt calls them last min to STOP
ATTEMPT-4: In 1994,South African intelligence tips Indian Govt(PVN Rao) that Dawood travelling to South Africa with 18 fake passports asking India whether he needs to be arrested. Congress govt goes silent & buries the input as if nothing happened.
ATTEMPT-5: This time IB director Ajith Doval devised a plan to excute Dawood at Karachi in 2005 using IB. Doval uses Chota Rajans aides sharp shooters Vicky Malhotra & Farid Tanasha & gets everything ready.Mumbai Police Crime Branch comes & arrests both, thus sabotaging Ops.
ATTEMPT-6: R&AW this time collaborates with Israel's Mossad picks up 9 expert operatives (code named “Super Boys”)They are given identities of Sudan, Bangladesh,Nepal. They track him decide to execute near Dargah in Karachi. Now Pappu govt calls as usual at the last time to STOP!
