Before I go into how to make your streams count I would be talking about 3 main ways of making a song sell and do well on the charts!
#1 Buy! Buy! Buy!
#2 Stream! Stream! Stream!
#3 Request! Request! Request!

I notice people tend to stream wizkid song then abandon buying the song. It’s just 200 naira maximum so It’s very affordable. Since wizkid sells out his concert I see no reason why wizkid FC can’t buy is song on Itunes, goggle play and amazon.

The problem I notice is that we all send links of wizkid songs but some of us don’t know how to stream properly which is a waste of your time and data. Take for example “Kenya” streams wizkid song on Youtube more than us which still feels strange!

How to stream effectively:
#1 Wizkid Fc please do not download
any wizkid song you are streaming just stream it with the use of your data or wifi. Your streams start counting when you stream it without downloading it!

#2 Wizkid FC please and please do not put the song on repeat. Streaming services are trying to block a lot of activities while streaming so once they notice you are repeating a song the streams would stop counting towards the song.
#3 Create a playlist to avoid putting the song on repeat which means your playlist would have different wizkid songs in between the wizkid song you are trying to stream.

#4 Do not mute the song by reducing the volume to a minimum of 50%.
Most times when fans organize streaming parties to stream a song they usually stream the song overnight, so to make the song from disturbing them while they sleep they reduce the volume of the song.

Streaming services noticed this then they try to stop that act and make people actually listen to the song not sleep while the songs are playing. But this is not a problem, to avoid the song from disturbing,you can use earphones or lock it up in the toilet

I’m sure some of the wizkid FC are getting familiar with requesting because you guys were wonderful last night, I loved the unity and cooperation. Requesting also plays a big role in streams because majority of people in abroad listen to their radio stations.

If we request wizkid songs to be played it on this radio station it would make a larger audience listening to his song which would increase his streams. Wizkid doesn’t need payola( paying for his songs to be played) we can do this for him.
In summary, if wizkid was to drop an album or a single we have to do 3 main things to push wizkid songs to further lengths which are:

#3 Request! Request! Request!

If you feel you don’t have data just buy and request the song. Buying is actually the most important one that I would advice everyone get used to. 1 sale= 150 streams this shows we have to get used to buying. I also notice “Joro” was not top 5 on Nigeria itunes, this has to stop!
