Here is the truth:

All the members at one point in time have not been treated well by fans. Does that mean we should excuse any mistreatment just because this is the case? Absolutely not. But there is something to be said about certain narratives that “only *” is treated
this way, a narrative which even I myself have fallen into and have worked to do a better job about knowing who I surround myself with and understanding that at some point, all members have experienced mistreatment by fans. Note that I did not say ARMY, because if you are
ARMY you will work to treat all the members equally as a team and as individuals. (Please don’t misconstrue this as not being able to have a bias).

We need to do better about cleaning out those who cross the line but also recognize that mistreatment is not limited to one member
Confirmation bias is real and if we don’t zoom back and look at the broad picture.

The best advice is to surround yourself with people who have different biases than you. You might not see your bias as often as you like but you will see a more balanced picture.
Plus! It’s cooler to show the reason you love your bias so much and it’s cool to see why others love their bias so much! I follow a lot of different biased accounts and it just makes me fall in love with the boys more! And if you don’t see your bias enough, tweet about him!
Confirmation bias is real if we don’t zoom back and look at the full picture*

and is not supposed to be there 🚶🏻‍♀️
We can quickly fall into a narrative if we aren’t careful. I have. It’s easy to be swayed when you see the evidence stacked on one side but once you take a step back you realize ALL of them can have this said about them. Let’s just try a little harder to love them all well.
